Coral Collection

The Coral Collection of illustrated surface design patterns is informed by careful observational study of nature. Marine biota and environments are interpreted through the lens of design to create dynamic forms and harmonious compositional structures. These hand drawn patterns balance naturalistic detail and underlying formal harmony to create a sense of both interest and tranquility. These ornamental artworks bring depth, beauty and enchantment to interior living spaces facilitating a sense of repose.

Submarine

The softly ordered organically architectural structure of the intricate Submarine pattern is especially suited to wallpapers.  The balance between naturalism and design brings a sense of harmony to the interior space.  Various oceanic elements create a unique composition which echoes traditional pattern conventions in a modern way.  The overall structure is unified, eliciting a feeling of serenity.  The layered elements create a sense of atmospheric depth.  The immense detail invites gazing and sustained interest.  The beauty and harmony of this pattern enriches the living environment.

The Sea

The harmonious composition of The Sea pattern is structured organically rather than architecturally, making it particularly suited to textiles and soft furnishings. The design is reminiscent of shallow waters, reefs, and tide pools. Elements of the marine environment and biota intermingle. The design balances intriguing detail and an overall sense of tranquility, adding beauty and interest to the living space.

Kelp

The Kelp pattern draws inspiration from traditional foliage motifs in its lyrical design and organic vertical structure. It interprets the otherworldly beauty of a submarine forest in a design which is both intriguing and serene.

Fan

The Fan pattern plays on the scallop design convention by bringing interest to the familiar repetition through organic asymmetry and imperfection. Exquisite detail invites gazing and contemplation in living spaces decorated with this macro scale ornamentation.

Stag

The stag pattern gives a subtle nod to the traditional fleur-de-lis motif in an unconventional manner.  The familiar repetition echoes traditional botanical patterns while unveiling uncommon detail, naturalism and organic asymmetry upon longer inspection.

Kelp & Sand

The Kelp and Sand blender coordinates echo motifs in The Sea and Submarine statement patterns of the Coral Collection. The subtle, organic stripe of the Kelp foliage and the pebble like texture of the Sand patterns are perfect complements to the more detailed designs in the collection and are well suited to walls as well as soft furnishing accents such as curtains, cushions, upholstery and bedding.
